2024 Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence

After a hiatus for 2023, the WPC planning team is starting the process of organizing for a 2024 convergence. The dates have not been set yet but we are looking for convergence host sites. If you or someone/organization/business are interested in hosting click on the button below.

We are always looking for additional folks to help us plan the convergence. If you are interested in being part of the planning team shoot us an email at wipermconvergence@gmail.com.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get things rolling! Happy winter solstice!

Food for Thought and Eating

One of the wonderful things about the Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence is the opportunity to share meals with each other. The planning team works hard each convergence to provide food that nourishes the minds for everyone involved. In the past we have had food catered or prepared onsite by planning team members, my mother Kate Carlson, or local catering operations. This year we taking a hybrid approach with lunch and dinner on Saturday prepared by planning team members and volunteers while lunch on Sunday will be provided by Jolly Frog out of Madison Wisconsin. Below is the planned menu for both days.

Saturday

Lunch

Build your Own Sandwich: A variety of meat, cheese and veggies served with a side salad.

Dinner

Pizza: We’ll be cranking out a variety of 12” pizzas every two minutes.

Wine Tasting: mIEKAL aND who owns and operates Beyond Vineyard and Nursery.

He will also be selling a variety of his cold hardy fruit trees and shrubs during the convergence.

Sunday

Lunch

Burrito bowls, burritos and tacos: Jolly Frog will be slinging these in veggie or omnivore options.

Shoot us an email if you have extra produce and or meat that you can bring with you to share for the meals.

Sales of Tickets with Food

We will be closing down sales for tickets with food included Wednesday September 14th in order to give our food planning team and caterer enough time to prepare. Please snag your ticket ASAP if you would like a ticket that includes meals for the weekend.

2021 WPC Cancelled

Due to low registration, the planning team has decided to cancel the Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence for 2021. Without enough registrants this close to the event start, we are unable to cover necessary costs and deposits. Whether it was prior engagements or the current situation with COVID many people were unable to join us this year.

If you have already registered for the event, we will reach out to coordinate a refund over the next two weeks. We will be contacting you via email so please check you email. We look forward to you joining us in 2022.

We would like to extend a big thank you to all of the people who provided great sessions and we hope you can provide those opportunities for us all in 2022.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions or input on how we can continue to improve this convergence in the future.
