Andrew Barelli
Proud Rockford native, Andrew Barelli of Barelli Family Farms LLC , has been exploring the world of natural farming, ancestral nutrition, and permaculture since graduating high school in 2013. Through networking with like minded folks he found himself naively attending a MOSES Organic University course titled "Farm-scale Permaculture" with Instructors Mark Krawczyk and Grant Schultz. Andrew realized in that moment that he had stumbled into something of a soul calling, and has since spent the last nine years on and off market farming, managing restaurants, and landscaping as a means to cash flow bigger dreams of a farm-scale permaculture project.
Currently Andrew works as a landscape contractor with a focus on market garden design and installation at Barelli Family Farms LLC alongside with his brother Luke and cousin Sean. The business provides services and consulting for five restaurants, two middle school farm education projects, and many home gardeners in the Rockford region. Driven to help bring an awareness to soil and human health and that all the worlds problems can be solved in a garden.
