BUILD COMMUNITY WITH A CHICKEN COOP CO-OP

Like the idea of a chicken coop but don't want to do it alone. Here's an example of a shared urban coop co-op with coop plans, ideas for sharing, harvesting, etc.

JOSH FEYEN

Josh Feyen earned a permaculture design certificate in 2013 and a masters in social innovation and sustainability leadership in 2019. He's been practicing permaculture at the urban, home scale for several years, has had several successes and failures, and is still trying to learn from both.


PERMACULTURE 3D

Learn how drones, GIS, RTK surveying, and 3D software are being used to maximize the design process, inspire clients, and provide valuable project management tools for practitioners. In this session Jim will reveal his workflows for data collection and 3D modeling, showcase past project visualizations, and discuss the bright future for the Permaculture – 3D partnership.

Jim Barmore

Jim Barmore is an accomplished builder, designer, and 3D visualization specialist. He graduated with a degree in environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville in 2005. Following graduation Jim traveled across the country exploring examples of sustainable strategies including intentional communities, natural building, alternative energy, permaculture, habitat restoration, and ecological design. He completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps, constructed towers for wind energy developers, worked as a carpenter in Alaska, and taught workshops in natural building. Jim currently provides 3D design and visualization services to professionals in architecture, engineering, and law with his business, Harrier Geographics, LLC.

Mark is a seeker and loves to work with those who dream to make their home an instrument of transformation. Mark’s journey to Regenerative Real Estate is informed by his work and education around the globe; as a language student in France, Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, sustainable developer in California and Louisiana, and teacher in Japan and Wisconsin over the last four decades.

Founder of Voss Organics urban farm, whose mission is to provide community members with the products and know-how to grow their own healthy food in beautiful productive gardens, Mark has provided regional gardeners with seedlings and growing advice since 1995.

As a local public school educator for 20 years, Mark has introduced thousands of students to the importance of regenerative thinking to create healthy, thriving communities. Mark brings his enthusiasm for service to his real estate practice. Aligning his expertise in education, land stewardship, and community connections, Mark works with his clients to realize the productive potential of property for wellness, connection, and resilience for buyers, sellers, the community, and the earth.
